Westpac Women's Markets in partnership with Sphinxx are once again pleased to invite you to the Ascend Development Day Series for senior women in business. The Ascend Development Days are for women aspiring to leadership roles - looking to advance in their careers and gain the confidence and connections to realise their full potential. The next leadership development day in Adelaide will follow the theme 'Re-energise You' and will include a line-up of some of Australia's foremost leaders including Carolyn Hewson AO.

City to Bay Fun Run

This year WIT will be getting fit in the Sunday Mail City to Bay Fun Run to raise funds for EBL Disability Services Inc.
EBL Disability Services Inc, as the Elizabeth Bowey Lodge, began with a unit in Davoren Park to support families with children with an intellectual disability. Over the last 28 years, the they have grown and now provide respite to 105 families from the north and north-eastern suburbs.
EBL need to raise $25,000 to expand the services offered and to provide a 'sensory' room for the Children's unit. A sensory room is specifically for children who have varying degrees of Sensory Integration Disorder. Sensory environments are aimed at providing these individuals with the opportunity to stimulate develop or balance their senses. Their main functions tend to be therapeutic, educational and relaxation, all in relation to development.
Training sessions are being held every Sunday at 8.30am at Henley Beach. New members can join in the training at any point leading up to the day.

External Event - EBL Halloween Ball

EBL Disability Services Inc. is hosting a Halloween Ball on Saturday 30 October to help raise funds. This "Black and Orange Tie" (or Halloween fancy dress!) event includes a 3 course dinner and entertainment. WIT will be hosting its own table at the event, which you can register for here.
